Real Work, Real Community
This is Global Green, out in Lincoln.
Unwanted clothing doesn't automatically have to become waste. That idea is where we started, and it's still what drives us today.
Since 2017, Global Green Clothing has been working to keep clothing in circulation right here in Lincoln, Nebraska, one Green Machine bin, one free pickup, one bag at a time.
What started with a handful of donation bins has grown into a network of Green Machines and free home pickups serving Lincoln, Waverly, Hickman, Crete, and the surrounding Lancaster County community. Every donation is sorted and baled at our Lincoln facility, then shipped out for reuse: some finding a second home right here in Nebraska, and some traveling to communities around the world.
We're proud to partner with organizations that share that mission: schools running clothing drives for their students, the Arbor Day Foundation planting a tree for every Green Machine we fill, and the Lincoln Children's Zoo, which receives a portion of the proceeds from our donation bins. Nine-plus years in, we're still guided by the same idea we started with: your closet cleanout can be someone else's gain, and the planet's too.
